Kendrick Lamar claims the Top 3 spots with his new single and two recent features.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After igniting discussion across the web with the release of his new single “i” last week, Kendrick Lamarreigns over the Top 3 spots this week with his feature on Chris Brown’s “Autumn Leaves” returning to the #1 spot. “i” slipped one spot to #2 and Kendrick’s appearance on Jeezy’s “Holy Ghost (Remix)” jumps back into the Top 10 after falling off the list last week.

This week also brought a snippet of a new Drake and Tyga track, a Meek Mill album leftover featuring Mac Miller, and the first appearance for Jennifer Lopez’s Iggy Azalea featuring “Booty (Remix)” video in the Top 10.

Chris Brown & Kendrick Lamar’s “Autumn Leaves” Back At #1

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After consecutive weeks at the #1 spot in September, “Autumn Leaves” returned to the Top 10 after falling off the list for more than two weeks. The song appears on Brown’s recently releasedX, his sixth consecutive album to appear on Billboard 200’s Top 10 upon release.

“Autumn Leaves” itself is a slow-tempo track featuring a Chris Brown verse and hook before Kendrick Lamar takes over. “It seems that all the autumn leaves are falling/I feel like you’re the only reason for it/All the things you do, all the things you, do all the things you do,” Brown sings on the chorus.

“When you’re outlandish and you lose manners, to God you shall consult/When the bright cameras are still cramming in your face and it provoke/You to act mannish, just stay planted, because you reaping what you sow,” Kendrick raps.

Kendrick Lamar Releases “i”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a sparse release schedule over the last two years, Kendrick Lamar finally returned with a new single last week. With a prominent Isley Brothers replay and an “I love myself” refrain in tow, Kendrick’s “i” finds the emcee fired up for a full three verses. “Finna run into a building, lay my body in the street / Keep my money in the ceiling, let my Mama know I’m free / Give my story to the children and the lesson they can read / And the glory to the feeling of the holy unseen,” he raps at the end of the song.

This past week, the song’s producer, Rahki, told MTV News about the making of the track.

“We wanted it to sound exactly like the record,” he said. “The musicians that I chose to play on this record, I felt like they would be able to knock it down and give it that feel that Kendrick wanted, and they did an exceptional job…Everything you’re hearing is a replay; nothing is sampled to the actual master.”

Kendrick Lamar Remixes Jeezy’s “Holy Ghost”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the first week of September, Kendrick Lamar featured on Jeezy’s single “Holy Ghost” and the remix was let loose on the release day of the Atlanta rapper’s latest album. At the time the appearance marked the second of two new Kendrick verses in a single week as the TDE artist was also fresh off a Flying Lotus collaboration in the form of “Never Catch Me.” The Don Cannon and Frank Dukes produced track finds Jeezy holding down the first two verses and Kendrick jumping in for the third. “The black on black is a blessin’ / Black on Black crime on my weapon / I protect mine on my mama and ‘em, these my Usher confessions / Let it burn,” he raps.

Jeezy’s Seen It All: The Autobiography debuted as the #2 album in the country last month. The collection from the Georgia rapper sold 121,190 copies in its first week. The only album to out-sell its first week’s sales period was Maroon 5’s V, which sold 164,182 units.

OCT 14, 2014/ 3:16 PM  Chris Brown to Haters: SUCK MY ASS If U Don't Like What I Say!

Chris Brown is facing some pretty intense backlash for the pro-Ebola tweet he sent out yesterday, but he's not exactly bending over backwards to apologize.

In fact, he appears to be in Defiant Breezy mode.

If you missed it, Chris Brown's Ebola Tweet stated, "I don't know ... but I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. S**t is getting crazy bruh."

Uhh, okay bruh.

Not shockingly, since he sounds like he's pro-something that has claimed thousands of lives, and many fear will cause a global pandemic, the backlash was swift.

Among the anti-Chris comments included gems like "you believe this based on what evidence? Oh yeah, none" and "Why morons gotta be famous?"

Or, our personal favorite, "You're not a smart person ... at all." Chris appeared to concede that point shortly thereafter, writing "Let me shut my black ass up!"

The angry replies kept piling up, though, and he soon enough, telling people off: "I say what I want. If u don't like it.... "SUCK MY ASS" ( little Asian girl voice)."

Wow. Just wow.

That gem, and the original Ebola population control theory, are still live on his Twitter page, making us wonder who is managing this guy right now.

It's unclear if Chris is implying that governments are targeting poorer African countries with Ebola, or was just trying to sound smart and get all scientific.

Either way, fail. At least when Kim Kardashian fears Ebola so much that she's stocking up on hazmat suits, she's taking the virus' death toll seriously.

As for the people who agree with Chris' population control point - and there are more than a few on his Twitter - they might feel differently soon enough.

If many more people like Nina Pham start coming down with this thing in the U.S. and the CDC can't stop it, we'll see how long the ignorant online noise.

Bruh.

Oct 2, 2014 Karrueche Tran shrugs off whispers Jenner is 'obsessed with' Chris Brown as she goes shopping with her boyfriend

Having a beautiful and famous female throw themselves at boyfriend Chris Brown is nothing new for Karrueche Tran.

Having weathered the storm that was Rihanna, the 26-year-old model was not letting reports that Kendall Jenner has her eye on her musician beau get her down in Los Angeles, California, on Wednesday.

Instead Karrueche and Chris looked happier than ever as they headed to the Grove shopping centre for a day of retail therapy and lunch.

Chris Brown was back in an L.A. courtroom on Thursday for a progress report hearing in the Rihanna assault case.According to TMZ, his community labor was increased to four days a week, so he can finish his required hours by January.

A somber-looking Chris joined his lawyer Mark Geragos as he faced the judge, who also mentioned that he violated his probation by getting a speeding ticket.

With his new schedule (community service typically lasts eight hours a day), he won’t have much time to rehearse for his upcoming tour with Trey Songz.

The R&B superstars are scheduled to hit the road with Tyga in the months ahead. Breezy will also open the Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas on November 7 and perform with Trigga at Power 106′s Cali Christmas on December 5.

Earlier in the week, he joined Karrueche, Kanye West, and Big Sean at Teyana Taylor’s album listening party in L.A.

LOS ANGELES A judge says Chris Brown has been doing well and following his probation rules since his last hearing in August.

The Grammy-winning R&B singer appeared in a Los Angeles court Thursday for a progress report.

Judge James Brandlin told Brown he's shown good cooperation with the probation department.

Brandlin bumped Brown's community labor requirement from three days to four, but said that was only to ensure that he met his work requirement by the end of his probation in January. Another hearing is scheduled for Jan. 15.

Brown was jailed for nearly three months earlier this year for violating his probation by getting into an altercation outside a Washington, D.C., hotel last year.

He was on probation after he attacked pop singer Rihanna, his then-girlfriend, before the 2009 Grammy Awards.
